Our next stop was in Juneau. A little big overcast, it was a perfect day for whale watching. We were very luck to see a group of humpback whales hunting together using bubble nets. This learned behavior is only seen in the humpbacks of Southeast Alaska. They teach it to the calves and pass it down through the generations. It was a treat to be there to see them doing it. We also saw seals, sea lions and plenty of bald eagles.
Ready to get going
Do you see anything out there?
Maybe the binoculars will help.
I see whale spouts!

Look at this beautiful group of whales hunting together!
Grady found his own whale, a little bit smaller.
Sea lions hauling out on a buoy. Check out the guy who climbed up to the second level. How did he do that?
